The New York Botanical Garden has been
hosting “The Haunted Pumpkin Garden” that started
September 21, 2013 and will end October 31, 2013. The
fun has included spooky readings from Halloween books, creepy bugs
and creatures, pumpkin carving, and just this weekend “Scarecrow
Weekend” where families were invited to dress up a scarecrow for
their gardens.
The fun continues with Spooky Nighttime
Adventure, October 18, 19, 25, & 26; 6:30–8:30
p.m. and Giant Pumpkin
Carving Weekend, October 19 & 20;
10 a.m.–6 p.m. Spooky activities will take place every day till
October 31st,
fun for the whole family to enjoy.

The Chicago Botanic Garden will celebrate Halloween on Saturday, October 26 and Sunday October 27,2013. The weekend will be filled with spooky and creepy fun for the family that will include:

encouraged to bring your camera to have a lasting memory of costumed
family and the Halloween excitement in the garden. Ticket can be

The Chicago Botanic Garden also will
allow dogs in on Saturday October 19, 2013 from 11 a.m.
to 1 p.m. so they can partake in the Spooky Pooch Parade and show
off their costume and maybe win a best award.
Residents in Cleveland, Ohio are invited to the Cleveland Botanical Gardens to have a Halloween adventure at the Hershey's Children's
Garden for one last time before it closes for the season. The annual
BOO-tanical Bash will be celebrated on Saturday, October 26, 2013
from 530 p.m. to 8 p.m. The event offers trick or treating to the
spooky garden paths, and on Halloween crafts and games, Halloween
music and much more. Please register in advance online or by calling

The Memphis Botanic Garden is
offering a Halloween Hike though the garden paths on October 26, 2013
from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Along the way you will find treat and activity
stations, spider maze, Halloween craft activities and much more. MBG
members $5/non-members $8. Under 2 free. Online ticket sales
available but not required.
